Membership

The Legislative Task Force (LTF) is made up of five members from each of the three California Chapters — North, South and Central. The LTF has elected officers, including Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

SWANA’s future is extremely bright. The Association has spent many years building a name and reputation on offering high quality training, outstanding education opportunities, and communication among solid waste professionals. Tomorrow, SWANA will build on these strengths in order to move into the next millennium.

What is so great about SWANA? Its members, their passion, their belief in the Association, and their volunteer spirit. Without such a strong and vibrant membership, SWANA would not be the comprehensive organization it is today. Member presence and participation allows SWANA to provide another strength-the ability to network with peers and discuss solutions to problems that all solid waste professionals experience globally. For information on how to become a member of SWANA, please visit the Join SWANA site, where you will be able to download an application and to get a full description of member benefits.

SWANA’s network of 45 Chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada offers every North American solid-waste professional a convenient, local forum to “educate, innovate and communicate.”
